Learn how the ancients used colour to decorate the inside and outside of their buildings. Be aware of the their important colour associations in the décor and understand that colour is associated with everything that nature offers us. Take a look at the general everyday colour associations in our past and present lives. Be aware of their importance and the reasons as to why the ancient and modern world would use such colours to describe their world. Learn how the ancients used colour dyes and how the colour influenced the and enhanced the objectives of the people.

Take a journey into the use of colours from other countries in relation to religion, protection from death and how death and mourning are represented through varying colours in different countries.

You will understand how colour defines and displays the effects required to achieve desired outcomes and how this language of colour reflects the messages of power, wealth, success and cultural development.
